Implementation Specialist

I serve as an Implementation Specialist for the North Carolina High Fidelity Wraparound Training Program. I received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education and my Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have been working in the field of public health with a concentration on adolescent and population health for over 12 years. During that time, I designed, implemented, and evaluated substance abuse prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, and sexual violence prevention programs within the foster care, public school, juvenile justice, and mental health systems. Additionally, I have collaborated on research efforts with The Centers for Disease Control, UNC Chapel Hill, and The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. My mission is to cultivate an environment where families and communities can thrive by empowering them using collaboration and people-centered approaches. As a professional, I prioritize programs and projects that connect to my values: empowerment, collaboration, and a people-centric focus.
